They broke out with Tortured Whole (2021), leveled up with Homicidal Ecstasy (2023) and most recently dropped Hideous Aftermath (2025), cementing them as one of the most brutal names in the new wave of US death metal. With viral underground momentum, they’ve carried the torch of brutal, no-frills death metal to a new generation. Their name combines “sanguisuga” (leech) and “bog” – basically a blood-sucking toilet, and is famously hard to spell, pronounce and butchered daily. Try it, I dare you!
