About
Tolmin is known for its stunning mountain landscapes, the breathtaking Soča River, beautiful forested camping areas, Mediterranean weather, and heavy music… And it is right here that Tolminator was born – continuing the tradition of metal festivals in Tolmin.
We’re not looking back at the past or dwelling in nostalgia, but looking forward – with the goal of creating a new festival focused on the visitors.
We’ve limited it to just 5,000 attendees, allowing everyone to fully enjoy all the positive elements of music and untouched nature, combined into a brand-new festival experience at the most spectacular festival location in Europe.
As someone once said: “I’ll be back!”

Additional Costs & Upgrades
Tickets
Tickets are available via Mojekarte.si.
Ticket Resale
Can’t make it to the festival and want to sell your ticket? Use our official resale partner, TicketSwap.
Please note: If you purchased a physical ticket (e.g. Early Bird at Tolminator Festival 2025), resale is not possible through TicketSwap.
Important Notice: Only tickets purchased during the Early Bird pre-sale at Tolminator 2025, via Mojekarte.si, artists performing on the Beach Stage and TicketSwap are 100% valid and legitimate.
Tickets from any other sources may be fake!
Children
Until 2024, entry for children under the age of 12 was free. Starting in 2025, there is a small fee of €30 per child, payable at the entrance. Each child will receive a child wristband, which must be worn at all times during the festival—just like all other attendees.
Children may only enter the festival grounds when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who holds a valid Tolminator ticket. We welcome children of all ages, but we kindly ask parents and guardians to take full responsibility for their safety and comfort. Children must wear hearing protection, such as earplugs or headphones, when near the stages or in areas with loud music.
Please note that standard earplugs designed for adults may not provide enough protection for children’s ears. We require the use of child-sized protective headphones. If you don’t have any, a limited number will be available for rent at the Info Point. Failure to comply with this safety rule may result in being asked to leave the festival grounds, and re-entry may be denied.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping make the Tolminator Festival a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Early arrival to the festival area is possible on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 08:00 to 24:00. A fee of 20 EUR must be paid for early arrival, and it is only valid in combination with a valid festival ticket!
Please note that full festival production is not guaranteed during the early arrival period – some final production work may still be taking place across the festival grounds.
Also, we kindly ask that those who arrive early and purchase an early arrival ticket do not reserve camping space for friends who will be arriving after the early arrival period!
Parking
Please use the MAIN entrance at the CEMETERY (entrance for parking and camping, or parking only) to access the Tolminator Festival.
‼All parking categories are available for pre-sale via this link. The number of spots in each category is limited! Prices for all categories may be higher on the day of the festival if purchased on-site.‼
All prices are per vehicle, regardless of the number of passengers. Parking can be paid for in advance (for most, but not all categories) and at the festival entrance (if the category hasn’t sold out in pre-sale). The parking sticker must be placed on the inside left of your vehicle’s windshield, where it is easily visible!
The price for Parking (you park your car and camp in the forest) is 30 EUR, FAMILY Upgrade (including electricity connection) costs 200 EUR, ELECTRICITY Upgrade costs 150 EUR, Parking and camping in a vehicle costs 40 EUR, Camper Van Parking is 60 EUR per vehicle, and Bus and Truck Parking is 120 EUR per vehicle.
COMFORT Upgrade
The COMFORT Upgrade includes:
- Parking in the VIP parking lot (If you’re staying in an apartment, this is a convenient way to access the festival. However, if you’re camping, it’s much more practical to park next to your tent — keep in mind that regular parking categories and prices apply in that case),
- Hot showers,
- Access to an air-conditioned comfort area (inside a building facing the main stage),
- A comfortable VIP bar,
- Indoor toilets,
- Secured WiFi,
- Free table football (foosball).
The price of the “COMFORT” Upgrade is €50. Only 400 upgrades are available! Link for pre-sale purchase: Mojekarte.si. The price may be higher on the day of the festival. Access to the comfort area inside the building will be available from Friday, July 24th to Monday, July 27th, 2026, daily from 12:00 to 01:00.
Deposit for Glass (refundable)
For each glass*, can, or bottle, a deposit is charged. Upon your first drink order, a €3 deposit will be charged to your payment card. For all subsequent orders, no additional deposit will be charged to your card, but you must return your previous glass to the bar each time. You will,
of course, receive a new glass with each order.
To refund your deposit for the glass, bring your payment card and the empty glass to the deposit refund point. The number of empty glasses/bottles must match the number of deposits charged to your payment card.
*After years of using biodegradable single-use glasses, we have finally found a solution for reusable plastic glasses that can be washed and reused up to 100 times. Another step toward reducing waste at the festival and making the Tolminator Festival more sustainable.
ELECTRICITY Upgrade
Electric connections:
- Available from your arrival (even early arrival) – from July 23, 2026, to July 28, 2026,
- 230V, 6A each,
- Each electrical outlet has its own RCD,
- Each electrical outlet includes a limited plot of 50 m² (if you plan to share the plot with a larger group needing more than 50 m², you must order 2 or more connections),
- Technician is available daily from 08:00 to 22:00,
- Users must bring their own cable, with a recommended minimum length of 50 m.
There are 3 available plot options:
- Tents only,
- 2 personal vehicles,
- 1 camper van and 1 personal vehicle.
All vehicles must have a valid parking sticker – more info can be found at the Parking link. The price for the ELECTRICITY Upgrade is €150. Only 140 upgrades are available!
You can pre-order your electricity upgrade HERE. The price may be higher on the day of the festival.
‼Please note that GASOLINE/DIESEL generators are NO LONGER ALLOWED due to numerous complaints from other festival visitors, landowners, and especially residents of Tolmin. Therefore, please leave them at home and find an alternative (less noisy) solution if you decide not to purchase the above-mentioned electricity connection option or if that option is already sold out. This will help preserve the unique festival location.‼
Arrival Procedure at the Venue:
Upon arrival, inform our staff at the box office that you need assistance with the electrical connection. They will provide you with all the necessary instructions. The connection will be made by our technician. You will need to present proof of payment. The technician will also give you their contact details, so you can reach out in case of any issues. We offer 230V power, which can support most household devices. However, please note that the supply is limited to 6A per connection, so be careful not to “overload” the system.
‼Overloading the electrical system may make you less welcome at the festival. The least you’ll have to do is contact the technician to reset the system. If you decide to “share” electricity with your friends, you might interrupt the power supply to other plots, which, of course, is not desirable.‼
Connection:
We recommend using a 50-meter cable, as you might be quite far from the electrical connection due to the setup of the campsite. If you’re closer to the connection, still stretch the full length of the cable to prevent overheating during use. Avoid using extension cords. If you must, always use weather-protected connections and avoid placing them on the ground to prevent water ingress. Many modern tents have a small zipper through which you can pass the cable, ensuring that cables don’t cross the entrance.
Safe Use of Electrical Connections:
Electricity can be dangerous, especially in damp conditions – whether in a tent or outdoors. Even a 12V battery can give you an unpleasant electric shock if used improperly. However, with safe usage and careful handling, the connection can significantly enhance your festival experience.
Most caravans, campervans, and folding trailers come with built-in electrical equipment. If you want to have an electrical connection in your tent, you will need to purchase a special connection cable with two or more waterproof sockets – each will have a standard 13A plug like the one you use at home.
RCD:
Each connection has its own RCD protection. One reason for using a properly designed electrical connection at your unit is that it will have an RCD device integrated into the circuit. This is designed to immediately cut the power if any current leakage occurs to the ground. Leakage can happen if someone touches a wet device while standing on damp ground, which can often occur in tents.
Keep Everything Dry:
Tents, especially the floor areas of tents, can be damp, and moisture and electricity do not mix well. The end of the cable with the connection will usually have an option to secure it above the ground. Often, special clips allow the cable to be attached to the tent frame, keeping it off the ground. However, installing it above the ground can be more challenging in some tents, especially those with flexible poles. The electrical equipment you connect to the power must also be securely placed. Do not place electrical equipment on the floor of the tent, as water leakage or condensation can cause moisture.
How Much Power Do You Need?
You will also need to consider the electrical equipment you plan to use at the festival. At home, you probably have plenty of outlets and rarely overload them, but a campsite electrical connection can quickly become overloaded. If you’re using an electric heater, it should be a small camping heater. Heaters should be low power and ideally designed for camping. Also, do not try to use multiple heaters at the same time, as this could overload the electrical connection on your plot and cut off electricity to the entire campsite.
Hot Showers and Flush Toilets
Please note that showers have limited capacity and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. In practice, this means that hot water will be available at all times, but if the shower capacity is full, you will need to either wait in line or use the cold showers. This though has never been an issue in the past.
The price for the entire week, with unlimited access, is €15.
Hot showers are included in the COMFORT Upgrade.
Operating hours:
- Thursday, July 23, 2026: 14:00 to 22:00
- Friday, July 24, 2026: 08:00 to 22:00
- Saturday, July 25, 2026 to Monday, July 27, 2026: 08:00 to 02:00
- Tuesday, July 28, 2026: 08:00 to 12:00
Rent-a-tent
Since some of the visitors to Tolminator may arrive by plane and cannot bring their own tent, we have decided to offer the option of tent rental. This also helps prevent people from buying tents just for the festival and then discarding them afterwards.
The tents will be set up before the festival starts, in an area where only camping is allowed (no parking), near the food and sanitation facilities (showers and toilets).
After the festival, you don’t need to worry about packing up the tent.
Upon picking up your tent (at the festival), we will charge you a €50 deposit, which will be refunded when you leave the festival and show the staff that the tent is undamaged. If you plan to leave early or outside the working hours of the info point, please inform the staff in advance so someone can meet you at departure. The working hours of the info point can be found HERE.
The offer includes:
- 2-person tent
- 2 self-inflating mattresses
Price: €110
You can order your tent HERE.
Don’t forget to bring your sleeping bag – it can get quite cold at night.
The tents will be available for use starting July 23, 2026.
6 Steps to Pick Up Your Tent:
- Upon arrival, show your festival ticket to the staff at the festival entrance.
- At the info point, you will pay a €50 deposit. Please check the working hours of theinfo point in advance and arrange for the deposit return if you plan to leave outside of those hours.
- You will receive your tent number, additional instructions, and the phone number of the person responsible for the tents (you can use this number if you need any further information).
- Enjoy the festival!
- Before departure, call the responsible person to inspect the tent, and the staff at the info point will return your €50 deposit. If you are leaving outside of the info point’s working hours, please inform them in advance so someone will be available when you leave.
Please use the tents responsibly.
Deposit for Trash (refundable)
To receive your wristband for the Tolminator Festival, you must pay a €10 trash deposit, unless you are staying outside the Tolminator Festival area. As the name suggests, this is a deposit that will be refunded when you return a full bag of trash to the designated trash collection point (see the FESTIVAL MAP).
If you are staying in a hotel or apartment, please bring proof of accommodation to the wristband pickup point. If you do not provide proof, you will have to pay the trash deposit. However, don’t worry – you have the entire week to prove you are not staying at the festival campsite. Once you show proof of accommodation, you will receive your deposit back, and you won’t have to take your trash bag to the collection point.
We strongly encourage everyone to keep the festival area and its surroundings clean. Please use the trash bins available on the festival site and pay attention to the marked recycling bins.
Trash deposit check and refund hours:
- Friday, July 24, 2026, and Saturday, July 25, 2026: 10:00 to 18:00
- Sunday, July 26, 2026, and Monday, July 27, 2026: 10:00 to 02:00
- Tuesday, July 28, 2026: 08:00 to 14:00
Refund
If you have not spent all of your money and would like to get it back, simply go to the cash register, where the remaining balance on your payment card and the deposit for the card will be refunded in cash. On Sunday, an additional cash register will be open at the bar near the main stage from 08:00 to 12:00.
Trash Deposit and Card Deposit – How It Works
Explained in 6 simple steps:
Step 1: Upon arrival, you will receive your payment card. This is mandatory!
Step 2: Load at least €50 or up to €200 onto your payment card.
Step 3: Our team will deduct €23 from your payment card: €10 for the trash deposit, €3 for the festival Tolminator card deposit, and €10 for the municipal tax. Both deposits will be refunded at the end of the festival.
Step 4: Return your full trash bags to one of the collection points during the festival. The collection point hours are listed here.
Step 5: After returning your trash bag to the collection point, €10 (the trash deposit) will be refunded to your payment card.
Step 6: Before leaving the festival, make sure to bring your payment card to one of the refund points – the remaining balance on your card and the card deposit will be refunded in cash.

Applications for bands, Press, Non Food Stalls, and Volunteering
Band Applications
Each year, we offer newcomers the opportunity to perform at Tolminator. We will continue to support emerging artists, but there are only a limited number of slots available, and hundreds of bands apply. Therefore, the opportunity to perform will be given to an artist who is also present at the festival as an attendee. This ensures that visitors experience the festival as a community event.
What you need to do?
At least one member of the band must come to the information point at the festival, where they will need to fill out an application and leave their music on one of the music media formats.
This is the only way you can have a chance to perform at Tolminator. After that, we will review each application and select the most suitable musicians to perform on the Beach Stage or the DIY Stage.

Press Accreditation
Welcome to the media area of the Tolminator Festival. If you are interested in collaborating and would like to apply for accreditation for Tolminator, please fill out the form on the website under Contact > Press.
The application deadline is June 15, 2026. After this date, no further applications will be accepted. You will be notified by July 15, 2026, at the latest regarding whether your accreditation has been granted. The organizers reserve the right to deny any accreditation due to non-compliance with the deadline, requirements, or conditions, or if the number of applications exceeds the available capacity, without further explanation.
Conditions:
Completed and submitted application form.
Accreditation for magazines is also determined based on published materials from previous years of the festival (first-time applicants are an exception).
Online media must provide at least one publication prior to the festival discussing the Tolminator festival and one article about the previous edition of the festival (first-time applicants are an exception).
When applying for media accreditation, media outlets agree to send all media coverage of the festival to the festival’s media team (press at tolminator.com) after publication or airing and no later than October 30, 2026. Meeting these requirements will be a significant factor in granting accreditation for the next edition of Tolminator Festival and prioritizing your specific interview requests.
Incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.
